It's a blog done by my friends Mingus and Dottie's mom! She posts all sorts of cool stuff on the blog, and mom loves it! I love it because mom will sometimes buy me some of that cool stuff found on Phetched!

Really mom... foster puppies? WHY?!

Mom got a call and was asked to foster one puppy, yet somehow she comes home with two of them. Something about another dog being sick at the vets office and she felt bad... the woman needs to learn to say No.

So here they are the furballs, Lila and Lindsey. They're pretty cute I guess and mom's very impressed, I've been pretty nice to them. When they get near my toys I don't even growl as loud as I did with the other fosters. I mean come on.. look at them, they're so tiny, a loud growl will probably scare them to pieces.

Lindsey's getting braver, despite being startled she'll eventually come back to check things out. Lila still stands between mom's legs all the time and is a fraidy cat. She won't even pee outside she's so afraid! Instead this morning she pees in the bathroom while mom is showering and then her and Lindsey step in it and pace in front of the shower. GROSS.

I pressed myself up against the wall and climbed up on to the tray of stuff under the towel rack to get away. *sigh* Puppies.. really mom.. really..

I've got to keep an eye on my toys all the time so they don't get any, but I did let them eat my left over kibble, they're kinda skinny and could use it. Lindsey also likes to stare at my mom a lot, weirdo. Me and Lila end up just snoozing next to her. :) I'm pretty sure they'll get adopted quickly, they're cute and fun and soon they'll be outta my hair and I'll have mom to myself again. Can't wait!

Molly Mutt Duvet Covers!

So mom saw this site months and months ago and had been dying to get one, but she really couldn't justify it. I already have a crate, a bed, a custom pillow, 3 blankets, and 2 West Paw Eco Mats (which by the way are amazing!!). Lucky for her and for me.. she's addicted to the only Twitter scavenger hunt Barkhunt!

She scored 2nd place overall in the first Season's contest and guess what we won...
TA DA! A Molly Mutt Duvet Cover!!! and a Dog Eat Doug comic strip too!!!! Two of mom's favorite things!

I though it was a toy at first...

But then mom stuffed the stuff sack and put the cover on and voila! New bed for me!

WOO HOO! I'm such a happy and spoiled dog. By the way, if any of you are considering these duvet covers, we can attest they are high quality for a great price and they're stylish! The material was like a thick canvas type, still comfortable and the stuff sacks make life SO easy! Definitely worth it if your pup needs a new bed, the best part, it's all about reducing, reusing, and recycling!

Best Bully Sticks

Mom first heard of bully sticks a few years ago and on her search for healthy ones at a good price she came across Best Bully Sticks soon after she adopted me! Typically mom doesn't really endorse much but this company and their products have really made a difference in my health and on mom's pocket book!

The bully sticks she used to get from Petco always smelled and felt greasy, she was really pleased when the first batch came and the smell was minimal and the sticks looked good and weren't oily. I LOVE them, without a doubt, when that box comes, my nose is all over it! Let me tell ya.. paws are awful when it comes to trying to get a box open and mom laughs when I start gnawing on the side to try and get it open.

Mom also won me an Ostrich Tendon through #barkhunt on Twitter and WOWIE, my eyes almost bugged out of my head at the size of it. It took me the whole hour during the Barkhunt Scavenger Hunt to finish it! Granted she kept bugging me to take photos..

Things I like at Best Bully Sticks:
Bully Bites (1 lb.)- this is a bag of small bully sticks, great for those times when mom wants me occupied for just a bit (like when she's eating dinner). :D
Sam's Yam's Veggie Rawhide 1lb Bag - I hate vegetables, but I'll eat sweet potatoe!

Antlerz - these are naturally shed deer antlers, takes a really long time to finish them and usually I'll forget where I left the last 3/4 inch of the chew.. until mom trips over it. :D
Jumbo Beef Tendons & Curly Bully Sticks - Mom find these to last longer than bully sticks for me, particularly the Curly Bully Sticks.. those are great!
Plato Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil - This has helped soften my coat and make it shinier and healthier! Combined with my pre-made raw diet my health has been really good and it's yummy!

Beach Weekend!

This past weekend was fantastic! I got to spend two days at the beach with mom. First beach was Seabright in Santa Cruz, I got to just hang out in the sun. First I started off under the chair, dug myself a nice, cool hole to sit in.

Then when it got too cold (it was windy!) I'd find a nice sunny spot to enjoy me treat.. napping in the sun was more fun than the treat though. BOL. Mom was shocked, I didn't even want to finish my Best Bully Sticks bully stick!

I'm telling you it's tough being a dog. When the sun got to hot, it was back under the chair. Did you know that sand makes a pretty comfy pillow? :D

The next day it was off to Surfer's Beach in Half Moon Bay to meet up with my pals Emma, Jazmine, and Harley! Plus their peoples. :) These pups LOVE to play frisbee and ball, well Emma's more into play and chase. So much fun! I saw this squeaky ball I loved.. so I was a little pre-occupied.

Come on squeaker.. get outta there.. okay so I didn't get it out, but it was a great day. We stopped by Barbara's Fish Trap and I got to eat some of mom's fish sandwich and some fries! Delicious. What a great weekend!

Well it's official, my play buddy/secret snuggle friend was adopted Saturday. Her new home sounds really pawsome though! She gets walks in the morning and at night, goes to work with her new daddy on some days. He loves to groom so she'll be looking sparkly and pretty all the time! Good thing she doesn't mind being handled all over.. I HATE getting my nails clipped! She's got a nice yard to run around in and a comfy home, it's actually not too far from us so maybe one day we can meet up for a playdate!

Mom thought I would miss her a lot but I think mom misses her more. At least she doesn't need to worry about me digging in the yard with Makayla anymore. :D BOL! The plus side is I get two days of daycare since mom feels guilty about leaving me at home while she's at work since my buddy is gone. hehe.

Okay.. she's more fun than the last one but still.. do you know how hard it is to monitor all your toys! I do like her quite a bit though, she's a lot of fun to play with. We chase each other and wrestle around the house, up on the bed, off the bed, down the hallway, while mom is trying to watch tv, while mom is trying to sleep.. glee!! Of course we have to stop and rest too.

Anyway, mom says she's a sweetheart, whatever that means. She's not as much of a lap dog as I am, but she does love being petted, she'll even lean into people for it. Her name is Makayla and she's a spaniel (mom thinks Cavalier King Charles) mix. We're trying to find her a good home, hopefully with someone who's around a lot and hopefully has another doggie for her to play with.

I'll be honest, I love having mom all to myself, but it's actually been a lot of fun with her here. I think I'll miss her when she gets adopted.

So on mom's day off she gets me the in car and I think we're going somewhere fun.. like the park. Okay we did got to the park for like 30 minutes.. then we went to meet this little thing. Her name is Gilda, she's my new foster sister. She's 8 years old, likes to cuddle and basically just wants to sit in mom's lap all the time!! That's not too bad.. as long as she doesn't touch my toys or my chew bones then we'll get along just fine! People keep asking if we're related.. what do we look alike or something?!!.. okay maybe a little. hehehe, but I'm about 10 pounds more "muscle" than she is. BOL!
